FEIJOA

The Acca Selloviana is an evergreen shrub of the Mirtaceae family known as Feijoa. The Feijoa is a fruit with a very pleasant fragrance that includes and boasts many healthy and beneficial properties for the human body and for the dietary balance.

Inside of the feijoa

The Feijoa is cultivated in the Colombian Andean region between 1800 and 2700 meters of altitude in a subtropical climate where the temperature does not drop below 15 ° C all year, allowing the high intensity of sunlight during the growth of the fruit giving it more quantity of vitamin C and a sweeter taste. Furthermore, the subtropical climate allows the fruit to be produced continuously throughout the year.

In Colombia there are several varieties of Feijoa, which is considered an important factor for cross-pollination to obtain high quality fruits.

FEJESSENCE products are made with Fresh Feijoa Pulp from Colombia.

It reduces cutaneous hyperpigmentation because it inhibits the transfer of melanosomes (of melanin-containing vesicles) from melanocytes to keratinocytes. Vitamin B3 is also able to stimulate fibroblasts to produce more collagen and is therefore responsible for improving elasticity and skin tone
